And for those who prefer to stay on land, there are plenty of picnic areas, playgrounds, and open areas. Who We Are

The Friends of Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area is a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to preserving and enhancing the beauty and recreational opportunities of the Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area. We are a non-profit organization that works with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to improve the park and provide the best possible experience for all visitors.

We strive to maintain the area for recreational use, while also conserving its natural resources. We work to promote and support educational programs and events, and to advocate for the protection and preservation of the area’s natural resources. We also strive to raise awareness about the importance of conserving our natural areas and the need for everyone to be good stewards of the environment.

What We Do

The Friends of Cadiz Springs State Recreation Area work to promote the area and protect the environment through education, volunteerism, and advocacy. We host events such as clean-up days, trail hikes, and educational programs. We also advocate for better access and park amenities. FOCS is committed to ensuring that the area remains a safe and enjoyable place for all to enjoy.....
